Due to COVID restrictions, OCBH lobbying efforts will be virtual for the 2022 legislative session, including district specific legislative meetings and a "Lobbying 101" training webinar for members.
2020 OCBH Day at the CapitolThe event was a great success with 70 people in attendance to lobby their legislators. CEOs, members of their Board of Directors, program staff and people with lived experience, showed up to share their stories and request the support of their representatives for SB 1553 to investigate barriers to treatment for those with co-occurring disorders and identify ways to ease access.
